Tony Morales, started Pacific Provisions in March 2016. Being a "foodie" and food traveler, I've come across many unique and delicious products made in small batches by artisans across the country. I've discovered that while local farmers markets offered a venue for some, there wasn't a place that people could walk in, touch, feel, learn about and purchase great pantry items from outside of the local area that weren't made by national manufacturers. There's an old saying, "if you want something done, you've gotta do it yourself," so, I did!
In late 2009, Tony founded Desert Smoke BBQ out of a desire to produce (and let's face it, eat) BBQ sauces, hot sauces and seasonings that fell between the mass produced "grocery store variety and the novelty products that have kitschy names and plenty of heat but no flavor.
